At Texture, everyone is welcome. With small and big adjustments, we do our best to make our house as accessible as possible.

Prepare your visit with this step-by-step guide. A helpful resource, especially for visitors who are sensitive to sensory stimuli.

The European Disability Card gives your companion free entry to the museum. Once you have entered the Golden Crown on the Lys, you can safely store your belongings in the lockers in the entrance hall and navigate from floor to floor in the spacious lift with Braille display. And when the need arises, there is an adapted toilet on each floor

The wide passages are wheelchair-proof, making it easy to roll through Texture. All texts and screens are easy to read and see at any eye level and have convenient contrast for people with limited vision. Want to hear the guide better during the tour? Adapted earphones amplify the sound razor-sharp. And if you get a little tired, you can always use the transportable chairs. Whew, take a breather.

Park in front of the door. This is how we work together for an accessible Flanders

Accessible Flanders is a platform of the Flemish government that provides information on the accessibility of public buildings, tourist destinations and events in Flanders. It sends everyone, with and without disabilities, out and about throughout Flanders, informed and with peace of mind.
