Here and now: TABLESCAPES. BETWEEN FOLD AND PRESTIGE

Collection presentation #6 shows how centuries-old table triumphs still come to life today. Expect a selection from our historical damask collection, alongside contemporary work by master artist Joan Sallas and textile designer Emilie Palle Holm. Their reconstructions and innovative 3D-woven centrepieces play with light, colour and space – breathing new life into this tradition.

In Thread, artists play with the contrasts of our time. They display textiles in unexpected forms and techniques: from knitted film stills to textile memories in clay and pixel-like patterns. They explore textiles as a medium and question our world, with an eye for beauty in waste, strength in vulnerability and a delightfully absurd perspective.
